“What Remains” is a documentary about the photographer Sally Mann and the creation of her series on death. This documentary is one of the most influential and inspirational films I’ve seen about a photographer. Sally Mann is one profound individual and she has a lot of meaningful things to say about the process of photography and the processes of living and dying on this earth.
